The Counterpoints Foundation was founded in 2017 by harpsichordist Aljosja Mietus and recorder player Thomas Triesschijn. The Foundation furthers the field of historically-informed performance of classical music and brings this music to a wide audience. In order to achieve its goals, the Foundation cooperates with early music ensemble The Counterpoints. The ensemble consists of:

Together with the ensemble the Counterpoints, the Foundation engages in a variety of activities:

-Organizing cultural and educational events;
-Research into the field of Early Music and related matters;
-Producing and distributing media.
